Composting is a method of waste treatment where the organic components of the waste is biologically decomposed, under controlled conditions, to a state in which it can be safely handled and applied to the land or sea without adversely affecting the environment. In fact nutrients are stored in the decaying organic matter and the compost holds these in a form that is easily absorbed by plant roots and aquatic life.
Our composter system is designed to produce regulation compliant compost from human or organic waste. Designed for efficiency and convenience, this system is environmentally friendly and adds value to the environment. The composter utilizes a patented in-vessel process were the moisture and temperature is controlled to provide maximum efficiency. In-vessel aerobic composting for five (5) days accomplishes the same effect as thirty (30) day anaerobic digestion without creating the odor or the toxic sludge disposal problem. The solids are mixed with bulking agents like shredded paper, wheat, bagasse or other organic material to create and maintain moisture content of 40%. The system uses ambient air for cooling, and can be used regularly or left loaded for long periods of time. This unit works on 110 volts and is fully automated.
